Ben's headed down to Miami to explore some of the local food, as recommended by you! Most of the day was spent exploring Homestead in south florida where loads of fruit plantations can be found. Mangos, lychees, jackfruit, pineapple and more. not to mention an entire organic edible flower farm. TashaAzhar: In Malaysia, we have two fruits that look very similar to each other but with very different textures. One is cempedak and the other is nangka but I still get confused as to which one is called jackfruit. Cempedak is smaller than nangka and has a sweet, soft and stringy flesh. My favourite way of eating these is to fry them in batter. Nangka has a sweet and firmer flesh compared to cempedak and is sometimes cooked with coconut milk.

So jealous! Your face when tasting the mango. :) As a latin american living in the UK I can understand. oh what you guys are missing, the real taste of fruit. Don't get me wrong scones are great! but I do miss me some good natural flavours.

Thais use the Butterfly Pea (blue/purple flower) to naturally dye food (mostly dessert. Makes a great colorful lemonade or limeade too.

Jackfruit! It's very common here in Indonesia, we call it nangka. You can coat them in flour batter, fry them and make fritter. Delicious!
