This couldnt have been posted at a better time im currently making a cheese cake and it just so happens that i have chocolate chip cookie dough in the fridge. Ive made a chocolate chip cook crust with the cheese cake but never throught of putting cookies ontop too

The reason they say not to eat raw batter is because of the raw egg in it. eggs nowadays are more prone to salmonella than they used to be due to the conditions they are produced in. But if you're sure your egg doesn't have salmonella, go for it.
