Hi, in this video I show you how to make a witch house lamp using a plastic bottle, tin foil, paper clay and paint. This is a great Halloween project to make with your children. They can learn about recycling in a fun and creative way. I first cut the plastic bottle and glue the pieces together. The bottom of the bottle will become a pumpkin and the middle and top will be the witch house. I added tin foil to the roof so I get the shape of the witch hat. I also used wire from a hanger for the pointy top and the thin border of the witch hat. I used tin foil for the windows and door too. When the basic shape is finished I start covering it with paper clay (I used Das modelling material -. I made some wooden texture for the door and windows using a knife. I also carved a cute smiley face in the pumpkin. I start the painting with the basic colors, purple for the witch hat roof, orange for the pumpkin, brown for windows and door and green for the stones. I added some blue shades for the hat plus some white and yellow lights for the stones and pumpkin. I also added some pearly white and white gold here and there for the light effect. In the end you can seal the paint using some matte spray varnish. I placed some battery LED lights under the house. I recommend you use soft lights that will gently illuminate your windows so it looks like a real house. DON'T USE HOT LIGHTS!
