Hi, in this video I show you how I make an abandoned farmhouse using some cardboard, hot glue and acrylic paint. You can achieve so much texture with cardboard by distressing it, is amazing. I start by gluing the cardboard boxes in the desired shape. I have all kinds of cardboard boxes from different products. I just turned them inside out so you can see the shape better. On top of those boxes I made the roof structure. I knew some parts of this structure will be visible at some point so I made wooden texture on most of the pieces. For this step I used cardboard beams made out of thicker cardboard (you can glue multiple sheets of thinner cardboard. I also added texture to the walls and floor. I've made the cardboard door and windows and gave them a nice texture as well. I added a chimney and started laying the roof tiles. I applied them like I usually do, from bottom to the top, but this roof had holes here and there to give that abandoned look to the farmhouse. Painting is easier this time. I panted the whole house black at first, then added white only to the textured surface. By doing this we have a dark color in the background and a good white surface for the colors we will be applying. I chose some pale colors for the walls, blue for the door and windows and a nice dark red for the roof. That's it! I hope you enjoyed it

As always, absolutely amazing! So much detail from so few materials! Curious, how long does it take you to make it from start to finish?
