03 - Elements and Principles of Design and Painting - Acrylic Painting Course SchaeferArt Amy: woohoo! I really love this video, so far its my favorite of the course. You are awesome Brandon, thank you so much for taking the time to share your knowledge. I just can't afford to take classes right now or buy videos or take workshops (I do visit the library alot but Im visual and get much more from seeing it done than reading about doing it) so your really helping alot of people that want to learn. Its tough right now and painting is one of the only things that keep me sane these days: )

Wow. Finally. Someone who doesn't assume we know the. very basics. You start from the. very. very beginning, like the. colorwheel, emergency
Wow. Someone who can actually teach from the very beginning. The principles and elements, AND even more basic than that, your. materials and the. good. old Colorwheel. Thanks a million, Mr. Brandon. Because of you, this 2014 will be. my best year yet. I have such a burning. desire. for. painting. but I really needed the basics. I AN O

maybe its because I don't have any background whatsoever but i didn't understand what you were talking about. I hope you discuss what each of these terms mean in future lessons. If not then I'm still happy to learn that they are important that I research and learn about them on my own. I am happy I have found your videos! Thanks for your time and effort in putting them together for all of us beginners

I think this is going to be a good course. I got discouraged in my acrylic lessons at Michaels because I don't draw well. So taking the time to listen to your videos about this will be helpful. I just might learn patience too! Off topic-has anyone every told you that you look like you could work the Renaissance Fair in this video? Its a good look: )

Just wanted to say thanks for starting this instructional series. I just recently decided to give painting a try, so the timing of this is uncanny. I am looking forward to following along as you share your knowledge.

I am so grateful for these videos Brandon. To be able to do this at home (far less threatening than a group environment) and in my own time is invaluable. I do thank you for sharing your knowledge and talent.

Hi Brandon. Thank you so much for this course. I have one question. Can you explain what you mean by value? Or provide an example? Thanks again.

Thank you for making this playlist! I have been wanting to learn about acrylics without having to spend a bunch of money on art classes: )
