you have always inspired me. in fact on of my first paintings was following your instructions two years ago. I am a portrait pencil artist but I've always wanted to learn how to paint. and I was always discouraged because I always jump right in without getting the fundamental basics down first. So now I'm learning them from watching your videos. already being an artist its hard to slow down and put the brakes on sometimes. like many people I grew up watching Bob Ross and others who always make it look so easy! I wanted to make sure I took the time to learn acrylic painting correctly so as not to get discouraged again. I'd watch one episode about how to paint a tree and in my crazy mind I'd be worried about my first exhibition and pricing my artwork! So thank you for taking the time to discuss the process of learning and growth for us who are so eager to learn

At end of school year. I would go over to art school and pick up sketching pads, brush, pencils, art paint and take it home. I give stuff out to family and friends. Many art books and art magazines dump in recycle bin. I took them home give to family and friends. Yes I got a lot of free art stuff that way also. My nieces love big sketching pads. Just blow me away standing there in art school and looking at all those detail pencil drawings in recycle bin. I recall my hands being black after. LOL

My husband is the master of doodling but never completes anything. I think those shades of grey just might encourage him to maybe, consider, someday completing a doodle. I've never tried anything other than the white eraser but I don't erase often. All your videos are helpful. :) oh and love the jacket in the beginning. XD

Brandon you are very talented! you can draw, paint. I cannot draw, maybe just trees, but I can paint. thanks for your time in doing these videos.
