07 [a] - Transferring Drawing to Canvas - Acrylic Painting Course SchaeferArt thedarkleo19: After reading Ken. That is good idea. Copy off photo on clear film and then use classroom projector on the back of canvas. Now I'm on the hunt for one to use at home. Still I live on school campus and all classroom projectors I want to use are here and then again there at any public library. I'm glad we have these talks. Really open my thinking to new ideas. You folks are awesome people. Thanks

The way I use to transfer my smaller drawing to lager canvas.
I take my picture to Staples(US only) and for less than $2. 00 they will blow it up to any size you need and print it out on engineering paper(same paper as blueprints. You can do a image transfer by using tracing paper or just use medium and transfer the ink straight to your canvas. Works great.

There is another easy relatively cheap way Saral Transfer paper in graphite or white, they actualy come in also yellow red and i think green, i like the white for a darkly painted canvas and the white will easily show up if you need to detail it and the best part is if you dont cover the stuff up all the way u can wipe it off with a tad bit of water

I have been using copy print over Carbon Copy Paper and then I would tracing it out. I have been using on drawing face portraits. Before I start I use photo grid system on computer. Funny thing that keep coming in to my head is paint by number kits as I'm doing a painting. Thank you for making these videos.
