I've been drawing for a few years now but I never really felt the need to learn about the structures of different features and the anatomy. I now realize how naive I was. within 3 days of watching your videos, (head and facial features) I'm now able to draw portraits and my own face too (with good accuracy I'd say. I'll be binging ALL your videos for the next two three four five six seven months. hopefully I can become a good artist. thank you for your lovely videos.

Dear Proko!
Can I send u a sketch of mine. I tried your shading but it didn't work!
I just couldn't find the CORE shadow separating light n shadow. it just didn't work.
I sketch from photos. Would you indicate to me where the core shadow is so that I know where to start! ( I also didn't find the light direction )?
I used the other tutorial about shading.

Bruh, guys, this guy teaches anatomy and did a perfect job. You wouldn't complain if you're here to learn anatomy. Maybe you want to learn about how to make proportions for attractive ears, you can find another videos XD

You need to slow the hell down at points. It is almost impossible to follow the lay-in, and you never actually give us a moment to breath and follow your instructions before you move on to the shadow mapping process

I love how respectful and considerate he is answering comments. Even the ones that could be considered rude, he takes the time to give a thoughtful and kind reply.

If you're practicing your drawing and you ever get discouraged, just remember: it's always the darkest light before the lightest dawn.
