It take some practice, but the key is to first try working on, and refining, a few characters that you know well. This way, you can see the improvement in how you progress in the evolution of the design of a character, rather than drawing a new character each time. I hope that helps! -- Chris

Everyone has felt that way about their artwork at one time or another. Keep at it, and strive for small improvements instead of big leaps. Then, in a year or so, you'll see that all of the small improvements have added up to a huge leap!

man i suck too but i have seen my older brother grow from shit to gold and he just keeps a notedpad wherever he goes and learned from those who were better just keep at it like chris says and you will reach new heights
