Just payed 119 for food like 20 minutes ago.
Just so you know its about 1 to 2 weeks of food and I used coupons.
I'm in nevada in vages I have a lettuce bed in 5 different windows in my home with lime grass and some onions and a couple garlic growing with them.
Yes I get very good productivity out of them and yes its all organic and yes there all in long pots 4 feet deep 5 feet long so ya.

You can grow lettuce hydroponically indoors if in a freezing climate. Outdoors when the temps are right, grow lettuce for eating and for gathering seed. We grow several varieties, including Little Gems. Lettuce is so easy to grow!

I have lettuce in my beds right now, but I'm expecting temps in the negative teens this week. My crops are done for the season after this, I think! Great spring and fall crop though, and will often readily reseed itself.

Having just eaten a salad from my garden, I didn t know there was a lettuce shortage. I had stopped buying a lot of produce at the market due bacteria and diseases. Everyone needs a veggie garden.

Is that one of the crops they paid farmers to burn? Anyway I have iceburg lettuce and romaine seeds. If worst comes to worst I can grow some inside. Im in Canada.
