I have had two dragon fruit plants in small pots for many years. They have not been looked after yet still gave us one or two fruit per year.
I have followed your advice and the next day massive change. Multiple buds that are now flowers.
Who would have thought pruning and fertiliser would help so much.
I now have multiple plants growing throughout my garden. They are in large pots with quality soil and fertiliser. Already the cuttings are showing growth.
Thank you for your videos.
Regards from Brisbane, Australia.

Thank you so much for this series! I bought three little dragon fruits from Baker Creek seeds a couple of years ago and have had them planted in red solo cups since. . The largest one is several feet long, but only the size of my thumb thick. I'll be potting them up properly asap, I promise, now that I know what to do. New sub, five vids into a massive binge fest. Much love from Oklahoma!

Kevin, I believe in all the plant for health.
My question is how do I plant the Dragon fruit?
My wife bought one fruit(white inside and red outside) but cut it in slices.
How can I do to grow a Dragon fruit plant from scratch?
I live in Wilm, NC. USA, the fruit cost me $5. 99 plus tax.
Will the plant stand the cold weather here?

Cant test it quite yet myself but maybe try spreading the plant pieces out a little more at the ends, not so bunched up and you may get more even buds through out the plant. looks like that one solo piece got more sun from all angles so the plant thought ok bud on this one then. TY for the epicness!

I see all the mistakes I have made with my dragon fruit. In summer it gets over 110 here, it's in hard clay soil. I need to tie it up better, replace the soil as best I can and see what it does. I also accidentally started a cutting, its small but happy.

Hi, can you tell me how much I should water my 1 year old Dragon fruit plant? It has a huge flower and I am super excited and I don't want to mess it up. I've been watering it 1-2 times a week

when the get tip gets to that far curving down, it's about to flower soon.
when you cut bottom part off, you might want to cut the wedges of the wings, to increase surface areas there.

I have grown a couple dragon fruits from seed. That was ten years ago and still no flower buds. They get plenty of sun, water, and fertilizer. What do you think the problem is?
