Log Cabin Windows Done using Simple Hand Tools 17 - One Man Traditional Log Cabin series Linda: Erik you are GREAT at this, don't let anyone get you down on the WORKMAN SHIP OF THIS CABIN! You know how to whittle? Thing I am thinking is some of those pieces can go into spoons for you and Your Moma to use and if they go fast in making sell some of them also Grandpa would love to have one from YOU it would make HIS FACE SMILE!

I worked as a carpenter when I was in my 20s. Watching you work was highly educational, entertaining and calming all at the same time.
Your skill level, work ethic and dedication is impressive. Thanks for making these video series on log cabin construction.

When it takes hours just to do one thing like axe out space for a window on one log, I'll bet that gives you a lot of time to think about your approach, and work out some of the logic of building the thing.

Eric was as red as a tomato, then he went outside, & soaked in freezing water that could be a death trap for his visitors or dogs. He needs to cover those places, they could cause an accidental drowning!

Erik's got it easy. You try doing that in a park round here and some job's-worth will nag you into tidying up after yourself. Could watch this all day, mind.

Curious, do they have predators out there like cougar and grizzly? Being far out in the woods when it's dead quiet if I hear a twig snap I get spooked.
