Processing Beaver Hide at Log Cabin Build - Sweden Adam: Do you do the filming and editing, or does someone do it for you?
Every time I see the camera cut to a different angle, I'm imagining you stopping what you're doing, readjusting the camera, and starting over again, which sounds absolutely exhausting. And that doesn't even include the already exhausting work of building the cabin by yourself with simple hand tools.

Is the beaver skin of a good thickness? What I mean is that I tried a rabbit skin once and those are so thin you easily stab a hole in it accidently with a knive cleaning it up. And where in Sweden is the log cabin like north middle or south. Or what provincie/state. Oh and still enjoy the subtitles. Good work: )

There are some who would say that the beaver probably wanted to keep its pelt.
Then there are others, like me, who object, strongly, to workers, mostly in Asian countries, being paid barely subsistence wages, to produce our cheap clothes.
Sorry beaver. :-(

By now, I would have lost probably almost all my digits, numerous self inflicted slicing and stab wounds. Im a city boy but did live in the country, here near Pittsburgh PA. Your puppy is beautiful, she looks spoiled.

Nice change of pace! Enjoyed the scenery, birdsong and your wee puppy. Isn't it nice to have a break from constantly building. Stay safe and healthy! Ken from Canada

I would like to live that way (except for killing animals) looks so peaceful, living in a house made by your own hands that's a real home

Nice job for a young guy. Hey Swedish highlander, did you plant any new trees to replace the ones you cut down and used for your work?
reply

Erik, do you ever use the brain tanning technique to make them soft? Good job on the pelts you processed. They turned out great!

Hi Erik. Do you eat the beaver meat and what does it taste like and what dishes do you make from the meat?
