TESTING The Weirdest Axe Ever For Log Cabin? Timothy: AWESOME job young man. You should be very proud of yourself and take much pride in your accomplishments. There aren't many lads your age that could/would attempt what you have completed on your own. Great job. Very skillful performance you have shown. Keep it up. I look forward to watching more of your content.

Erik it looks like the usual way you do it your force is all down. With this axe it looks like its not as easy to control and your spending more time in one spot. Is this the case? Looks like you went quicker before. But there may be a place where that might be a useful tool to have. ? Great video as usual.

I love the project! As for the axe, it forces you to use one direction strikes, and over time that's bad bad for your body. Your usual method is to use strikes from both directions, working both sides of your body. That equals less daily fatigue and fewer injuries over time.

I like it. They need to make a left and a right version of it so the head is attached facing 2 different ways. One should have a red handle (cuts right) and one should have a green handle (cuts left) to tell them apart. You're welcome, from your favorite Tin Knocker.

It's been a while since you've been on. That is one beautiful axe/daze and will save you some time and still keep the traditional feel of your build. Looking forward to seeing the next video. Keep safe and healthy! Ken from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

Glad to see your ok, no videos in awhile. Great work doing it all by hand, without any power tools. Chain saw droping, limbing & cutting the saddles & roughing the groove would cut the time in half! I've done them both ways. Stay safe, Aloha

I agree it's an odd axe, but for some job it's probably the perfect tool. Keep up the great work Erik, you should be very proud of the skills you're mastering and what you are creating!

I suggest that you stop jumping down off things and start using a ladder.
I know. your young!
But when you turn about 50yrs old, you'll regret every jump down you ever did.

Is there right and left hand versions of that tool? It seems quite dangerous just from some of the shots. I'm glad to have you back, but be careful. Blessings from New Orleans.

Requesting the local blacksmith to design this style of axe probably caused many arguments in the early days. What are you crazy? Im not doing that to an axe head!

So what do you think of the performance of the axe I believe youre doing a great job doing it on your own More or less the old way if you know what Im saying

I am jealous this strong young handsome man gets to build his own cabin in the woods and he is so good at it. Beautiful craftsmanship!

This has to be the coolest cabin ever. made by one person only using hand tools, even to get the logs to begin with! Impressive!

Well I think the axe is a brilliant, if singleminded, solution to a problem. But being lefthanded, I hate it.
Ah well.
