3 Years Alone In The Forest Building A Log Cabin I've seen this video before, quite a while ago and came across it again. Leaving a sub this time. The beginning reminded me of this video called The Lie We Live. The noise of the city, compared to peace and harmony in nature. Sweden is such a beautiful country! You're very lucky to be able to do this. Swedish laws are amazing. But also, people are very considerate and protective of their forests. So it goes hand in hand.

get some experience doing concrete pads, their easy. and bring a chain saw next time for time sake, and you could build a few of these in 3 years. damn and a cordless hilti jack hammer haha. charge it with a water turbine or solar panels thatd be sick. im just projecting my own day dreams now great work man! doing all that by hand. treating the wood and using a spray foam insulator instead of moss would be good too. oh. man and a proper framing hammer! omg that home owners hammer lol brutal

If hard work and dedication was a person. Lol. Great job bro. I watched this a lot longer than I expected to. Most definitely kept me interested. You are so knowledgeable at such a young age. Leads me to believe that America has pampered most of us too much. You put 80% of American in your position and theyre going to fold. Definitely not building a cabin alone with their bare hands. Sending props my man, all the way from Texas.

I have to say, its very impressive. At an age when most lads your age are discovering girls and playing Xbox & Playstation, to go out and do what you have done is so refreshing. Whilst 17 year old me would love to have done something this, there is no way he would/could have done. Hats off to you, sir

Your tool skills are out of this world. I thought you were a professional lumberjack and carpenter but then I read your own comment. Anybody can learn farming, cooking and video editing by trial and error but your control over lumberjack and carpenter skills are way beyond skill.

I now understand where the idiom dead as a doornail comes from. Its clear, a nail under any circumstance, would be dead. If there ever was any doubt, witnessing the treatment of those poor nails, erased it entirely.

Very cool video and teacher, especially cool that you took the dog, then you're not alone, at least you have someone to talk to and time in the forest for yourself and the dog!

Proenneke's films also inspired the changes in my life.
Much more honest, rewarding and satisfying than the city isn't it? Great accomplishment, great reward! All the best!

Damn. That guy is so young but so skilled. He is a boss. We should show that video to the young children at school. This is this knowledge that will save them. .
