After 3 Years I Start Working Inside The Log Cabin Tony: I work faster than this man. I would have shelter faster. And three and a half years later he'd be living in his wooden palace built for the ages and I'd be sitting in half a small fancy lean-to with a wobbly table. :) He's a craftsman, and I'm an impatient dabbler.
My only complaint about the cabin is I'd want the cellar to be a bit larger and more regularly shaped. He loses too much of its available volume for the ladder for my happiness. I have to go back and watch the parts where he started digging it to see if there's a reason for its size and shape or not.

Aloha Erik hadnt seen this one until now, busy now its dark at 4 PM, If you still have to cut you took off the slabs making them square up together, you could cut them into the ends of the table, leaving the sap wood, cut 45s into the end then tracing the cutoff so the sapwood goes all around the table and covers the end grain or NOT, just something I do making live edge tables and counters! Aloha my friend, looks great, love your videos and work efficient!

Absolutely brilliant work Eirc, from the begining of the construction of your cabin to inside work. Totally mind blowing that you were able to do all this over such a long time, it takes dedication, patience, hardwork and skill. You are blessed with all and more. Keep doing your great work. Dont mind the naysayers who want to donw play your work. I find it totally inspirational and therapeutic to say the least.

I could watch you do this all day. The time, dedication, and care you put into your projects really pays off with something original and beautiful. I also cant get enough of your cinematography style. No music, no words, just the sweet sound of tools and hands at work. Youre a fantastic jack of all trades

Can't help but wonder what you do for a living or if you are seriously rich or something?
I do not understand why you did the resin wood thing?
But as always its awesome work well done.

Erick, I thought you wouldn't change much in these months, man, you've evolved a lot and I see that you've improved a lot in carpentry, you're the example I want to follow

I started watching this because of Yes Theory. They tell amazing stories about people. I didn't know that i needed your videos until i started to watch them.

Great, great work, Erik. I know nothing of woodworking, but I really enjoy the process of construction with wood. Now you have a fan in Brazil.

and the blacksmith and the gardener - a fantastic performance (it was necessary to hire an adequate director to make it look believable)

I hope you find the time to work with the door as it seems poorly insulated. It should take priority if you were to live inside.

I must ask, what type of tree was used to make this table? And is it the same type of tree that you built the cabin with?
reply

I hope you make our bed as strong as that table! There will be a lot of work for you in both thats for sure.
