Simple Shade Planter Krista: Hi Garden Answer! Firstly, I have really been enjoying your videos and they are a great way to tide over till spring. I am already looking forward to doing up my planters for the house. I was just wondering what you consider shade? My planters in the backyard do great (full sun with potato vines, petunias etc) but my planters for the front yard struggle! I am looking to find some plants that can tolerate being under a covered porch by a front door. Our house faces North East and we are in hardizone 5b. Any suggestions?

I really like this video. I think it's a perfect idea for small places like balconies. Can you do one version for south-side balconies that get a lot of sun throughout the day. My balcony has sun almost all day and I am not sure what I can use for that, except cacti. but since I never know how the summer is gonna be, it could be too cold and definitley too wet for those. Are there any flowers that can stand the sun and still do with rain in case it's a wet summer?

Me too! I love adding in door plants out in planters outside here in sunny Florida: ) Mixing it up and I have fallen in love with Coleus all variety's. You can trim them to fit your planter and now winter time I have a lot less full sun in my backyard! Plants are fun, wish I had done more with my mom when she had her greenhouse my pop built her.

Beautiful! This may sound odd, but I watch your videos every night before I go to sleep. You are so cheerful and easy to listen to. There is something so calming and enjoyable. Such a wonderful thing to end the day with after seeing all the ugliness and negativity going on in the world right now. Thank you!

This is wonderful, thank you so much for making this video! I have patches of shady areas I've been meaning to fill but I don't know of any flowering blooms that can fill them. I'd love to see more videos like this since my home is in a partial shade/sun area.

When I've planted containers for customers before I've finished my creation only to realize I've forgotten to check if their pot had any embellishment on it. I noticed you had your's right up front and center. :) Keep up the great work!
