Thanksgiving Centerpiece Garden Answer Diana: Hi Laura, so so beautiful! A couple of tips. Your floral foam should be wet foam. There are two types of foam you can buy, dry foam for dried or silk arrangements and wet foam for living arrangements. Fill your sink half full of water and set the wet foam on top. Let the foam soak to the bottom on it's own. This way it will completely fill and you won't have any air pockets. With air pockets you could be sticking a stem into a dry surface. Also there is a great product called Crowning Glory. It's a spray wax sealant that you spray each flower with. You don't see it but it keeps moisture from escaping the flower heads and will give your arrangement so many more days. It really works well! I'm with you, I love eucalyptus, especially seeded! By the way, you did show how to make a false stem on succulents when you made your first wedding bouquet which was so gorgeous!

Looks great! The only thing, which you may have done but cut out, is you need to let the floral foam soak up water for about 20-30 minutes before you use it to ensure the block is saturated all the way through. That way there aren't any dry pockets and your flowers are properly hydrated. :) You did an absolutely beautiful job though.

Laura, absolutely beautiful. I usually add veggies to my Thanksgiving designs. I also soak my oasis in water that has Crystal powder food. Helps the product last a little longer. Also, look into using Crowning Glory spray. It locks the moister in. You are an inspiration for me. Love to watch your projects.

Gorgeous arrangement. I love the rose hips you added from your own garden.
Could you perhaps do a video on them someday? I know they are chuck full of vitamin C but I don't know which variety to get or how to grow them.

thanks for these inspirational videos on floral arranging. You've opened my eyes to see all the plants and shrubs that I already have that I can take clippings from. I've never done arranging before but now I can't wait to start

It looks gorgeous! Wish you wouldn't fast forward the parts where you're actually building the arrangements and fairy gardens in your videos. Those are the main parts we love to watch.
