Planting up Some Fall Color! (a. k. a. willing cooler temps to arrive! ) Garden Answer Sophie: Great video as always Laura! I have to be honest as much as I LOVE summer the last few days I've been thinking about fall I'm looking forward to orange leaves, making winter soups and cosy snuggly nights in front of the fire. Hubby and I was actually talking just the other day about going fall garden shopping and then we thought 'it's a bit too early' but after watching this I guess we're not the only ones lol. That teal pot is absolutely beautiful and it really compliments the orange plants. I think we'll go fall shopping this weekend after all

Woohoo finally fall planting! Love the color of the planters. I have fought my planters all summer with the heat we have had and no rain and 4 hours of watering each time. Who has that time. I will be doing drip irrigation in the spring no doubt. Love fall so much better. Bring on the mums and pansies. Congrats on 600K subs. Love you guys so much!

The blueish pots really do add some pizzazz to the fall container floral plantings. I've been noticing over several seasons that a pop of blue or even purple added to traditional autumn color schemes is a nice touch. It adds something unexpected whether it's Thanksgiving table scapes or out in the garden. Beautiful look!

As you started to put in the yellow next to yellow, I was saying, but. and you did just as I would have. Looks great. I am going to go out and buy some new plants for my front urn. I did not do a good job of taking care of it this year. it needs freshened up and as I plant pansies later, I will add some in it. Deb in GA.

Love love! My only suggestion is that since the roots will never grow to the bottom of that tall pot, maybe fill half the pot with packing peanuts or empty plastic pots to use up some space. You probably could have gotten away with one bag of potting soil. Always love your videos!

Ive watched you plant many pots, but I have yet to figure out how you stuff the plants down in. Is the dirt in the pot so loose that you are able to literally stuff the roots down level with the surface of the dirt? Would love a close up view of the plants at the base!

Ive totally FALL-en for those pots! And oh so sweet is the pairing of the coppery tones of the coffee twist grasses and the beautiful endless shades of yellow from the honey supertunias. Truly a girl after my own heart longing for autumn too!

I realize this is an older video, but did anyone ever find where to buy these amazing containers? I just started watching these older videos, and I LOVE, LOVE these containers. Any tips on where to find them would be appreciated.

Yes come on fall, so over this heat and humidity. I watched your video on fertilizer and started using the water soluble type every week and wow made a huge difference my flowers/plants are beautiful this year! Thank you!

Loving the patina copper look, especially with your plant selection. Super bummed my garden center is sold out of all their annuals. Might need to place a special order for the supertunia honey and silver falls dichondra.
