OOPS! You missed one. Mine. lol, I had asked where I could purchase the wire obelisk type iron workpiece over the urn in your mother's yard (from her garden tour you did. Also, want to purchase several trellis' and obelisk type embellishments for my garden. Where did Aaron get that light/lantern he got you for Christmas? You could just pop an answer in here if you don't mind. Thanks, Laura. Love your videos; never miss them, and look forward to them each day. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have a couple thoughts about you gazebo.
Paint it completely black inclulding the roof and add Japanese style trim to give a complete contrast to your house. Why fight to try make it look the same as the house since I tg nevet will. My second thought. I would paint roof yo match housr. Then sides white but take the existing railing down and add a cast iron railing. It would a a bit of a formal look. Love to see what you do decide to do with it.

One question that I STILL would appreciate if you would please address is. do you have problems with deer? It is my biggest 'pest' for my garden and I've tried sooo many things and just looking for your thoughts on the subject. how to keep them from eating up your beautiful plants.
p. s. Thank you for the Bonide app info. Much appreciated!

Actually just rewatched your January 2019 Garden Tour and you can see
Clearly the orange color of the gazebo next to the red of the fireplace. So Yes! it needs a darker stain, perhaps more red like the fireplace? But definitely less orange. Just an opinion.
Whatever you come up with will be gorgeous!

My vote for gazebo paint color would be a mossy green. I think that would look amazing. and I just love moss green. It would blend into the landscape, but would definitely not take away from the house or any of the other outbuildings.
Ooooo, or maybe a dark blueish grayish color would be nice too!

For the Gazebo think about changing the roofing material to a black metal. Then remove the sides of the gazebo, giving it an open look, and beef up the columns and paint them white. It will take away the rustic look and bring it into line with the house style. Just a suggestion.

I would like to know how they keep their gravel areas weed free, I pull by hand and have to spray also! sometimes twice a year! and then there are the leaves, dirt, sticks, etc that you use the blower for, it ends up being more work than having grass in the yard!

No white on the gazebo, you're right, anything but white, green or gray or decking red, like Maine houses with that type of roofing! I enjoyed watching this video, loved the planters - they look great at the front of the house and came out really pretty!
