Planting Day! Garden Answer Jake: Quick question: at 5: 32, Laura shows us her wisteria, but did she say the Japanese version? Isn't that the more aggressive (and invasive) type? I was told the Chinese and Japanese versions (species) shouldn't be planted and that there's an American version (think it was developed at a university in Minnesota) and it's not invasive. Anyone know if that's right? Also, like Laura said, they get MASSIVE and she's taking a risk with that shed. The wisteria could crush it.

Hi Laura, I love your videos! I had purchased a foxglove a couple years ago. Variety is unknown. Anyways, I had started with just one plant. Now, I've got foxglove everywhere. They are about 7 ft. tall, much taller than I thought they'd get. So, I am wondering, now that I've got foxglove growing near side my strawberries, would my strawberries still be safe to eat? (Because foxglove isn't) Thanks.

I'm about half way through your videos (loving them) and paying a lot of attention to the watering system. I notice a lot of splicing connections from one area to another, etc.
My question is: Can you water all your beds at once or do you shut off some beds so you have enough water pressure to do specific areas? Thinking there can't be enough pressure to do all the beds at once.

Your plans help me get ideas of what I could do here. I live in north TX (Dallas area) where it is really hot, dry and horribly clay soil. We are zone 7b & 8. I was really surprised to hear you say that your location in Oregon is similar. You seem to do a lot more plants than what we are told we can make work in our heat and clay, so you make me want to try them, too.

Some little critter in the barn was like, What a nice lady! She left me a veritable seed buffet! Its frustrating when the wildlife eats your bounty. Mice are enjoying some of our citrus fruits before we can even pick them! I wish I could garden as much as you do. Im gonna live vicariously thru you if you dont mind. Thanks for sharing your gardening adventures!

So. I'm COMPLETELY addicted to your videos! Shame on you for being so informative and adorable I've been dying to know more about the drip irrigation you keep mentioning and then I finally stumbled upon your mothers day drip video for your mom new to gardening and fixing up the landscaping finally on the house my hubby and I purchased 2 years ago!

I see Russel is your apprentice. I have one too. My apprentice is a neighborhood kitty. A darling Tuxedo. If he had thumbs he could be a gardener. He watches closely everything I do. I'm sure I can find him a home if I advertise, Kitty needs a home. Good pet and good gardener! He and his friends are pretty hard on the catnip, tho: o)

You ask if we like these kinds of videos, the answer is YES! I love these casual, fun and informative videos from you guys. Any chance you could touch more on the Foxglove plants and how they propagate? I'm interested in planting them myself but didn't quite catch what you meant about the two year seed spreading. Thanks!

It is actually a good idea, garden journal. hmmmm, that would really help to organize thoughts and planting process, instead of whole bunch of ideas creating havoc in our minds and making the task look overwhelming when it really isn't actuality. Please continue to make this kinda videos, it's inspiring and encouraging.

My hubs planted 500 bulbs last year and they are fantastic x I love the way when you find something new in your large garden x
