DIY Pink Gomphrena Wreath! Garden Answer Hayley: I KNOW this is not where your family's heart is at, for now, BUT I was REALLY hoping you were going to show us how to make the wreath and then at the end, as it was hanging on the door, ya'll would be standing around it, holding Benjamin, with a little placard in the center of the wreath, announcing It's A Girl. I know. I know. ya'll aren't thinking along those lines, but. you never know

My kids and I made wreathes with the gomphrena and babys breath back when they were in grade school. I grew mine from seeds and had several shades of red, pink and white. I also added statice to the wreathes for a touch of blue. Seeing this brought back such memories. They are all grown and out of the house now so that was a looong time ago. Your wreath turned out lovely.

Oh wow! so beautiful, that is going on my plants in my garden next year, I love a pink wreath. Thank you so much for sharing this video it was so much fun to watch. Great job capturing everything Aaron. Like everyone has been saying in the comments, beautiful idea for breast cancer awareness month in October.

That is very pretty! I feel like the music/background music is much louder than Lauras voice. I always turn the volume down when the music is playing then turn it back up again when she begins talking again. I use my earphones all the time to watch. Not sure if its just me.

I planted the Truffela gomphrena this year in one container and I truly wish I had planted more. It was an excellent performer. It's still blooming! When I tried to dry some though, it dried, turned almost white, puffed up and blew away its seeds.

THAT is a truly beautiful wreath. Wow. So beautiful. Lovely backdrop for a video as well. Aren't there different colors of gomphrena? I'll have look into growing fallish colored flowers for a wreath next year. Fantastic and so simple of an idea!

I put one plant in a pot this year and it was amazing. It survived no watering while we gone for a short while in July. I did notice an order from that pot - sort of an oniony smell. I will definitely put more out next year.

Two things - 1st: gorgeous wreath - love it! 2nd: the potted evergreen behind your right shoulder. it's browning. I run into the same issue - do you simply replace or is there a unique way to fix?

I just thought of this! What if you covered the bunny topiary in dried pink gomphrena when your succulents are in the mood for a relocation! Re-watching this video because its just so stinkin cute.

It is Sept. 29, 2019 at 7: 03 p. m. and it is 90 degrees after a 95 degree high with heat index of 97. It is hard to live with it this hot. I wish I was having the light frost. maybe! ha! ha!
