Planting a Strawberry & Supertunia Tower!
video description
One thing about the grow tower? I bought a smaller one a few years ago & couldn't abide all the BEIGE while the plants were doing their thing, so I spray painted it with leftover blue. .. but that wasn't quite right so I spray-painted some yellow dots on top of the blue. . not quite right either, so I gave it a few green swirls. It makes me happier now in all stages of growth.
OHMMMMm.

I have a fun idea for Benjamin. One of my Grands is Bennett (Bennie. Buy a child size rake and leave it in the area of the garden you have set aside for him, teach him how to rake and yet be gentle with the mulch. My Grands Love helping me in my bird garden, raking the unwanted sunflower sprouts from the seeds we feed. They can rake to their hearts content without ruining my real flower gardens. Now my older Grands know the difference between weeds and flowers and help me with real weeding when they visit.

I'm really enjoying watching you make this beautiful space for your little one can't wait to see the bean structure develop through the season!
I'm living vicariously through you as I am a gardener at heart but I'm in a little unit with no soil to call my own in Australia coming into winter. I dream of having a property to maintain and little ones of my own one day, but thank you for cheering me up in the interim.

I can't take my eyes off that gorgeous peony in the background,
Is that stone path new? It looks fresh. Your area shows all your hard work. I love it!
By the way, I picked up that lovely cobalt blue quilted container (pine cone) you recently planted up for your sister-in-law's house warming gift. It's so pretty. I may plant it with all white flowers (moon flower and diamond frost euphorbia.

Loved the tower! I've become so frustrated with the Atlanta weather. 90+ degrees this spring. and the soul is solid as a rock! I've decided to take advantage of containers. It means hand watering nearly every day, but so be it! Your advice on container gardening has been much appreciated! I do hope the bad weather in Oklahoma has missed you. Praying for all in its path.

Future Laura, here. :) That was great. We have all been there, but you handle a mistake with grace and honesty. This also gives the rest of us the confidence to continue learning, because you are an excellent example of continuous learning. I love the lights on the bamboo tee-pee. The lights make it magical.

Can you perhaps address the cost involved in all of the projects you show your viewers? For example, is there a way for the average gardener to afford your projects? Maybe there is a way for us to make our own potting soil mix, instead of buying expensive bags that you use for all your projects?

my husband thinks the term lazy susan is rude so he always goes out of his way to make it sound as obnoxious as possible. He usually says something like the lazy disgusting crusty susan. I dont understand the logic because. well, talk about rude! But it never fails to make me laugh.

Love how you want to emulate your parents and how much you appreciate them. Most all I know of gardening and enjoying the earth has come from my Dad and Mom, and my maternal grandmother. I don't want to plant and grow. I have to plant and grow, it is in me.
