I love how within a few weeks a patch of gravel can be turned into a gorgeous garden. The roses are lovely. Re roses, I've lost some to our harsh Canadian winters so last winter I covered my roses with these insulated wraps that are used to cover honey bee hives and I didn't lose a single rose!
After watching your videos I decided to use Nine Bark and Elderberry shrubs across my back fence. I love the lacy structure of their leaves (Lemony Lace, Black Lace.

Laura, (or anybody who knows) how can you keep a weeping spruce that small? Oh, gosh, I want a. shoot forget the name, but it's a gorgeous spruce with a wonderful columnar shape -- grows to about 15 feet but only about 5 feet wide. I want it so much, but would need to keep it more like 2 feet wide and maybe 8 feet tall. If anyone can tell me if this is possible and how to do it, I'd be so grateful.

So excited for roses! So the first plantings used to be the old rose garden right? I love how you put some roses back but better this time. And the blue spruce, is that a weeping atlas blue spruce and how do you decided where to put those? I love them and want one but can't decide where it will look best. The chickens are growing nicely, did you name them?

Love the roses! I planted my first rose bush last year. It did beautiful last year and was off to a good start this year until gypsy moth caterpillars are now eating the leaves! What can I do? The rose bush is very sentimental to me as it was a gift when my sister passed last year. Appreciate any help!

We have had rose rosettes so bad here in the south that my mom had to stop planting prize roses. Even the David Austins. We all had to pull out our knock outs, which where staples here in the hot dry clay in Texas. how do y'all avoid rose rosettes up there? Your chickies are adorable

I have a David Austin rose that I planted earlier in the year. First time ever growing a rose. But it has black spots on the leaves and it started with a deep Burgundy red rose but now the new roses are a bright red. Why does it have 2 different coloured roses and what are the black spots

QUESTION: I have some mature rose bushes which were planted by a previous owner and need to be separated. How would you suggest doing that without looking like youve been in a fight with your cat Russel? Or should I just cut them down and dispose of them?

Thanks for the video. The roses are just beautiful. I have a question about the poppies. I noticed yours are standing up straight looking wonderful. Mine drooped and fell to the ground. It has not been hot. Im bummed. Have you had that happen?
