I Planted an Over-the-Top Heuchera Planter! Garden Answer Cathy: I have three wildberry Heucheras planted on the east side of our house. One has done beautifully in this location for two summers. We just got through 111 degree heat wave. I watered them every day to try to keep the roots cool but now one is covered in scorched leaves. I cut those off. I thought wildberry Heucheras could take the sun. The two younger plants have a small amount of scorches leaves. Any chance the older Heuchera will survive?

Laura such a great idea - plant in the container and then out in the garden later in the season - two looks, one plant, and you don't feel so rushed to get everything in the ground at the beginning of the season. You got me hooked on Heucherellas & Heucheras to go along side my hostas! To you both keep up the great work and take time to sit back and enjoy your hard work.

U r the best, the taste on colours, texture, pots, estructure n planning u do is impecable, Ive seen other bloggers n they lack at least 2 or 3 pieces of info we all need to be successful. U r THE BEST, u r blessed. The happiness u give to all of us and the hope and faith in the beauty of planting, the patience and faith is a huge addition to everyone lives. Thank u

I found you just in time. Watching this again today, but I have worked in my garden everyday during the Pandemic. It has truly saved my life. Its like nothing bad is in the world when I have my hands in dirt. You have lent me so much inspiration by watching how you create. Sending love and cant wait to hear about your little girl arriving!

wow! that is spectacular! the sun/leaves color follows the same advice as coleus, i think. which makes me think i might try mixing these in a newly dug up area i have, hmmm. see how you inspire? so clever to boost the height by keeping the 'apple twist' in its pot! you teach me something every day! this is so very pretty!

These are really different and interesting! I never see any blooms on your Heuchera, do you cut them off or do these varieties lack blooms? I love my simple Heuchera with their pink Coral Bells blooms. and so do the hummingbirds! They are a pretty addition to cut flower bouquets too. Thanks for keeping us grounded.

Those urns are so gorgeous you could leave them empty, but I love the way you planted them. That shape of urn looks so good without a thriller and the heucheras are so fluffy and lush on their own. They remind me of lettuce and always make me want a salad. Great color combination. Well done! Lisa

I struggle to find good shade planters! This would be beautiful all season in my shaded yard I think! Ive heard the same type of thing for hostas. But Ive heard it both ways, the lighter the leaves the more sun they can take or vise versa! Have you heard one way or the other?

All these colors you could almost use this for a Halloween container. I have a heuchera in my front flower bed when I bought it the edge of the leaves were brown or yellow and they still haven't come back yet don't know if I need to trim that off or take that leaf off

Laura. love this video. I was watching the video where you and Aaron planted the red point maples along the drive, and you decided to leave a tree that was already there, is that tree still there, I only remember the beautiful walkway and the 5 maples.
