Update on the Garden We Planted For Mothers Day! Garden Answer Joselyn: Laura, please answer this question. In this video and in many others you mention how windy is in your area. I am in Colorado, zone 5b like yours and I have strong winds almost everyday. I planted Supertunias and Superbells and they are not performing well at all and I am sure is because of direct wind they receive. Almost everyday I have to discard a branch broken by the wind. I followed all your instructions when I planted them. They are in full sun. They do not have any disease. I am using the same brand and products you use and I fertilize them once a week like you using PW fertilizer. If I am following everything you do and we are in the same area, why I dont have the same AWESOME results that you have?

I cant tell you enough how much youve been helpful to get me and my family through the long quarantine days! Not to mention that I credit my gardens full transformation to you! You are so inspiring. I know some days are tough for you to film but on my end everyday brings a new video with the sweet Laura. the noise in the background isnt bad at all; its actually part of life and makes ur videos more realistic (not that they need it. Hope u can advise with the following questions: 1- do you mulch around your ground covers? I love ground covers, got a few, but dont know whether I should mulch around them. 2- how do u keep squirrels from decimating your plant and digging at their roots?

I live in Central Pennsylvania, I live within a mile of an MUM FARM, we have a saying here, cut your mums back until the 4th of July and then let them bloom. they come out beautiful in mid to late sept. and light up the show. Love the color and all of your flowers. Simply beautiful. Getting lots of ideas and finding out I was doing things right and didn't know it. LOL! Thank you.

Love your videos, tried to find one on growing azaleas and couldn't find one - could you do one? I need help in the care of azaleas. In a protected spot west side that one's doing great. The two on the northeast corner of the house not doing so well. Help, Laura!

You shouldve kept going with the tour, like what is that white tall plant under the tree beside the hosta? I also noticed it at your mothers house, does anybody know what it could be. It kind of looks like obedient plant, but dont know for sure.

I know this is older, but I appreciated the recommendations for plants that do well in hot afternoon sun! My house faces full west too, and I've been struggling a little with what to plant, since it's not FULL sun, but it gets the hottest sun.

I love your videos, but I would really appreciate you saying the names of the plants a bit slower and clearer, seeing that I have a lot to learn about plant names. your gardens look so gorgeous! it's a feast to behold!
