Planting Crops For Fall Harvest! Garden Answer Louisa: Hi Laura, I've being watching your videos for a few months now and now just want to get into my garden and start planting all the wonderful flowers that you plant and mention. I also recently start collecting succulents and have made a few small arrangements for my sisters, which they think is so adorable. I am from South Africa, so our climate is very different from yours, but I do talk to the nursery owners when going to look for flowers, just to make sure that I get the correct plants for the right season. I am now also just want to plant in pots, because I just love the ones that you've done in your videos and your garden.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful and beautiful ideas you give us.

Can you do more harvest videos? I love those. I recently came across an article about improved hybrid varieties of Geums, a flower I had never heard of before that I can remember. I found the pictures of them incredibly beautiful and I immediately wondered if you've ever grown them in your gardens. The ones with dark burgundy stems and contrasting flowers(yellow, orange, peach, light pink) I found so striking and fascinating! I think they would be beautiful in cut flower arrangements as well as in the garden!

Laura - I love your videos- you and I have coffee together every morning - for at least 2 years! I've learned so much! I was at the local garden shop today - just browsing - and I've started reading tags- like you suggested. it was great to recognize the names of plants that I've seen you plant in the past - today I saw Guara - I've never noticed it before - and I had to take a sniff! Lol! A very pretty plant!
Thanks for starting my days so well - You are very much appreciated!

I planted my zucchini about a month ago Was that too soon? I have flowers but no zucchini. I dont know if the bees are coming? We went out and pollinated the zucchini but still nothings happening. Being from the Bay Area we always planted them around end of June beginning of July and we had a abundance of zucchinis. We have rosebushes and some other flowering plants but were just not seeing bees, I dont know if its because of the fires that were up here? Feeling a little frustrated: (

Everything in your new cut garden is looking so good, I love seeing how things are growing. And this video was so much fun, this area is turning out to be such a beautiful space, I could see glimpses of the tunnel, it looks like it is doing wonderful as well. Thanks so much for such a restful video, I look forward to seeing the progress the veggies make. Take care sending love and hugs, bye for now.

Amazing garden! Can't wait to see the progress. Looks like things are growing well in the background too. Love love all of your gardens. Laura doesn't your hair drive you crazy while you are planting? And make you sweat more? I have hair like yours and i have it in a bun or pony tail when I am gardening or it drives me mad. I notice you never wear a hat either. Yet long sleeves? Just wondering.

Hi Laura, love your family and your videos. I live in Michigan and it may be different in your state. But here we can call the city dump and they do composting. And they will let you take as much as you want. You have to load it yourself. But I thought I would let you know. It might be an option for especially out in your big Field. And free is always good LOL

Can you please explain what is Blossom End Rot. Im finding most of my zucchini blossom ends are rotting making my zucchini have a brownish cave in at the end of where the blossom were. Is there anything I can do to stop what zucchinis I have left? And what can I do as a preventative for next year? Love your videos! They are so informative for us beginners.

I have no issue finding biotone but NO ONE carries the Land and Sea. I live in the suburbs of Chicago and Ive visited every big box store and several local garden centers that have all the Espoma products and no one carries it. Is it new this year or do you think its just sold out every where? I ordered on amazon for $28 a bag! Ugh.
