Planting Sun Loving Shrubs: Butterfly Bush, Ninebark & Coralberry! Garden Answer Thelinas: Ive learned so much from your videos! My garden is thriving thanks to your help! With that said, the front of my home faces the east and the back west. We have no shade and would love to plant a shade tree in the front and back yard. Id love to know what kind of trees you think what be suitable and pretty for those areas if you dont mind! I love your style. Were in the 7 region.
Love you videos!

My amythest shrub is beautiful, but wondering when should I Prune it to keep the size not too big and a more manageable size?
, Also my 4 year old nine bark ie supposed to be fungus resistant but the past 3 years it has developed it. It actually did damage to my fern leaf bleeding heart and this third year it just hasnt come back. I use Neem oil on it. Will the fungus ever NOT come back?

I NEVER comment on anything, but your videos and instruction have inspired me so much. THANK YOU! The drone shots at the end of this video are breathtaking. simply breathtaking. I'm 64 years old and have just started gardening. You have given me so much to strive for, think about, and dream about. I'm on a retirement path that is filled with joy and you have helped me on my journey!

I totally started crying seeing Benjamin running in the grass. I remember watching videos where you were pregnant for the first time and it's such a blessing to watch your family grow and thrive. These videos will be such precious memories for Benjamin and Samantha when they're older. Thank you for sharing your family and your beautiful gardens with us.

I enjoy the drone above ground shots. Helps me get a sense and reminder of where youre planting.
Your water bill must be exorbitant!
In Melbourne, Australia where we live, and water is precious, we are encouraged to plant natives and drought resistant plants.
I really appreciate your generous use of water and the beauty it grows. Thank you.

What a transformation from a year or two ago, when you first bought the property. The grass is coming in beautifully, all the plantings are giving the property character and beauty. and will become more beautiful in the coming years. I was thinking. this is such a great place for the kids to play and imagine. a wonderful place to grow up.

Oh, the panoramic, drone shots. breathtaking. Such perspective! Laura, your philosophy behind gardening is one that my 80-some-year old award-winning rose gardening neighbors gave me years ago, You own the garden, the garden doesn't own you. You can plant, enjoy, move, take out, replace as it works for you. Wonderful watching you all!

I just ordered a few coral berries from your link because I find them strikingly beautiful, especially with the snow. I do have a couple questions though. Do you cut them back in the spring? Also, since Ill be planting this late summer/fall, should I wait until the spring of 2023 to cut back, or cut back this next spring?
