Canning Tomatoes & Grooming Houseplants with My Mom! Rita: For those of us that don t have our mothers anymore, seeing you with yours brings warm feelings and good memories to mind. My mom would can a soup she liked to make that had a mixture of tomato, zucchini, and onion in the jar. It was delicious. Thanks for sharing your mom/daughter time and for reminding me of good times with my mom.

You and your mom work so well together. She is a sweetheart. The tomatoes will be so nice to cook with this winter. Your house plants look much better. The pasta looked delicious. Today I felt like we were actually visiting in your home as you were working. Thank you and have a blessed day.

I have enjoyed watching your videos for a couple of years now even though I m in a very different climate! I work for an orchid and tropical nursery in south Louisiana! The heart shaped Hoya (if propagated correctly) will absolutely get more hearts and get bigger!

A tip I just learned is that you can freeze tomatoes whole. When you want to use one or more, take them out of the freezer. The skins will slip off and you can use the tomatoes as you would use canned tomatoes. Has anyone tried this method successfully?

hello Laura! I have one of the heart shaped succulents. the leaf you have will grow roots from the end of the stem under the soil. it should send up a new stem and start growing. it's a climbing succulent. like string of hearts, but much bigger.

Team work! Just like deadheading with monica this becomes quality time instead of tedious. I like seeing the end result of all of your effort growing. Question: why dont you save the seeds and skins for the chickens or the pigs?

Your mom is a ray of sunshine, and it shines through you to your children, too such a fantastic video today! I love it especially since I've been canning on my own for 3 weeks. It is so much better when you can with family

My 2 aunts & uncle were a great team in canning. They did 100 jars of tomatoes. They also did green beans & chow chow which is diff veg carrots, cauliflower that was pickled. And they did pickles.

It looks like you ve got a leaf but no node. Unfortunately it won t grow so you ll always just have the leaf. They re sold that way around Valentines Day because it s a heart.

With the skins & the seeds, you can also dehydrate them, them out into the blender or food processor into a powder form. To be added to soups, sauces, & dips.
