What do you recommend for someone that works during the week and can only leave the plants out for about 2 hours at a time? There is no way to increase the number of hours of sunlight each day, only on weekends.

I must say the direct sun in Texas will burn up seedlings in 2 hours. I have to start with half hour increments and take 10 days because my plants got burned and stunted in one two hour period.

Thank you! I normally plant packet to ground but I'm starting seedlings indoors this season to see my blooms sooner. never heard of -hardening off- - thank you!

What is you don-t have a covered porch or canopy? Can I just set them in the shade in the first days?
