I am SO INSPIRED. It was a hard day. I’m watching this video right before going to bed. Thank you for sharing and for going through the effort of editing and posting. It made my heart sing tonight.
PS In between your new videos, I’ve been watching your videos in order from the beginning. How beautiful to watch your little slice of heaven evolve over the years. My front garden is 3 years old and definitely still evolving. my backyard is still dirt and we’re finally putting the infrastructure and basic base plane in this fall. Your evolution is so motivating. Oof. Small novel.
Anyway, thank you.

The asymmetrical arch looks very romantic! I am a big fan of the spring garden and so love the blue mophead hydrangeas the best. I grow a large collection of peonies and irises and the blue hydrangea pairs so nicely. I did really like the cranberry color of your Fireside, so may consider that variety in the future. When I purchased my home, it came with an oakleaf hydrangea that stars cream and turns dusky pink. This year it turned pink and then quickly brown very early, so not a thrill. I'm still figuring out what my fall flower preferences are besides dahlias.

SO BEAUTIFUL, Daniell! How unique. I absolutely love it! I would suggest a garland of hydrangeas over your door to the book shed, and also a garland over the fireplace in the shed. So romantic! I only have 3 hydrangeas in my yard, so I have a hard time cutting them. I try to enjoy them as long as I can on the shrub. I would so love to get more so I can use them for creations like this! The wreath is definitely something I can try, but I don't have the full assortment of plants that you have

Wow! I was so impressed with your wreath, but when you moved to the arch. well, there are no words! Your creativity has left me speechless! While you were showing the arch, I couldn't help but wonder if you've considered planting a climbing hydrangea over your arch. I just cut limelight blooms yesterday to share with friends. Unfortunately, I do not have a kousa dogwood to add to the hydrangea wreaths I often make this time of year. I so appreciate the inspiration you provide. thank you!

Hi Danielle I have a bunch of the blue hydrangea that I dried, I just put it in vases. I love what you did with yours! The arch and wreath are so beautiful. Great job! I had no idea you could use the kusa dogwood like that! Why don't you use the dried hydrangea in your evergreen tree like you did last year and add them to your Christmas tree again or maybe decorate your pumpkins with some of them like you have in the past. I think that big dried arrangement is spectacular I love it!

Danielle, this turned out beautifully romantic! Your garden is what I aspire to have in my yard! My grandmother died before I was 10, but I remember her hydrangea hedge, all the way around her yard, and your garden reminds me of hers! I’m trying, but the deer keep using my hydrangeas like a buffet! How many years did it take to get your garden so full This year will be the year of building a big fence for me!

Hi Danielle, meant to add I love the hydrangeas in the fall when they turn colors of pink, green, and shades of plumb, as you say the more romantic look. However, in summer I can't get enough of the macrophylla blue ones. Your garden in the evening with the lights and the addition of the hydrangea arch with the lights on it is very inviting and magical! it calls you in! love it so much!

Oh my, talk about a moment of enchantment. They are soft, lovely, romantic and free! I live in a reproduction New England saltbox with a stone wall in front. Behind the wall in an area I call the courtyard, are 3 urns with fading summer annuals. This year I will fill those urns with hydrangeas. Thank you so much for letting us journey with you.

I have a beautiful Christmas magazine from last year. In the magazine is a photo of a pine and hydrangea garland. It goes up and around a large display cabinet in a dining room. It’s very full like your arch. She used chicken wire as the base. Funny I’ve been hanging on to the magazine, planning something similar this Christmas.

I enjoy hydrangeas in all their seasons! I have pinks and mauves drying in my house right now. Some I keep in vases right now. I'll be using some on the Christmas tree. And this year, I'm making a grapevine wreath using dried flowers from my garden. But mostly, I love the hydrangeas in the landscape.

Danielle, I love how beautifully you put floral arrangements together, both the wreath and the arch are gorgeous! I don't have a Kusa dogwood, but I'm hoping my American Cranberry viburnum berries will last (at least for a while) in an arrangement. I will give it a shot. maybe on my moon gate.

Hi Danielle, you love all the hydrangeas in your garden! One plant I noticed has been missing in your garden is the strawberry sundae hydrangea. I haven’t seen that plant in your recent video. I wonder how it is in your garden and how do you like that plant Thanks happy gardening!

Hi Daniel. Love every single hydrenga in your gardens! I love the hydrengas on the arch too. Will definitely do this when I get my hydrengas and they get lots of blooms on them. I am waiting for an order online. Cant wait for them to get big and beautiful like yours. I hope

Oh my word, Danielle, you have done it again! Such a lovely and yes, romantic, display with the hydrangeas! That arch is gorgeous and I plan on using it as inspiration for one of the simple, welded wire arches in my own garden. What a treat to wake up and see this!

So lovely! I either make wreaths with my dried hydrangeas or just arrange them in a vase in my house. I just love hydrangeas! I like them in all stages of color. My oakleaf hydrangeas turn dark brown though and I am not fond of them at that stage.

I have had the best year ever with hydrangea blooms! Such a gift! I have them in vases everywhere, on the front steps in a galvanized container, & am saving many for Christmas porch pots. Your arch design is my favorite!

I used an idea from Jenny at Creekside. I stuck the cut hydrangeas into a soil filled (damp) container and put it on my porch. They have dried beautifully and by sticking them into the soil they don’t blow away.

Both the arch and the wreath are beautiful. Your floral arrangement ideas and the talent you have are inspiring. Thank you for sharing your storybook garden rooms with us, all of which are
painfully romantic
