Three years ago a friend sent me a packet of dahlia seeds. Those seeds birthed Northlawn Saving Grace’ and I’ve been working on different ways I can share her with you. Today I’m sharing an update on the rooted cuttings of Northlawn Saving Grace’ and Martha Miller’ dahlias that Jung Seed sent us. Support my channel by becoming a member:

SOOO exciting for you and Martha Miller Dahlia, I truly love your videos so genuine and real you are. A true Gardner and good person! I love Jung seeds very much too, Been ordering from them for many many years, when I was a kid I would sneak out to our local bank down the street and get a money order so I could order trees and plants from jungs without mom or dad knowing lol ( I was probably 10) lol. the wait so patiently for my plants to arrive. I wish you much luck and happiness with your garden. We live in such a beautiful area here is PA, if you have time check out the Peony Festival in chadds Ford, its 55, 000 peonies its amazing. soooo inspiring! I came home and planted 50 peonies in rows like they have, just to have a taste of those fields

Hi! I am pretty new to your site as of this spring and am so impressed by your style. I too am a northern gardener living in zone 4 here in Minnesota, I always come away with something relevant watching your gorgeous setting. Dahlias have become my newest obsession as of last year, there is something so simple yet so rewarding in them. I love the simplicity of this Martha Miller and the tribute was so thoughtful. I will keep an eye out for them and would be so honored to grow one of my own hopefully very soon.

She gave her whole life in volunteer work sharing gardening with other people. Yes, that was your grandmother Danielle, but guess what, that's YOU too! I am a long time gardener, but have learned so much from your wealth of knowledge, enjoyed your enthusiasm and of course seeing Grace loving your gardening spaces too. A great tribute to have that Dahlia named for your Grandmother and thanks again for your contribution as well!

Lovely family history and continuing legacy! You are gifted with sensitivity, though sometimes difficult, it is your gift and blessing. Right there with you, deeply feeling and appreciating the beauty of creation, joy in nature, relational stories, heartfelt sentiment. .. You share this with so many and have an impact on others with your beautiful garden and spirit. Congratulations and thank you!

I love the personal touches in your garden and have done the same in mine. I regularly choose plants that have family names and am onto a 3rd generation of zinnias I’ve bred in my father’s name. Sharing your story today brought tears to my eyes because it’s clear how much you love and honour your grandmother. She’d be so proud of you!

What an absolutely lovely tribute to your grandmother. I imagine her looking down on you with such pride and joy. The world needs people who feel things deeply and find deep meaning in things others might overlook. It sounds as if your grandma was one of those, and perhaps she's part of why you are, too!

What a wonderful tribute to your grandmother. I am also too sensitive. One of my cats has been sick and died today and I'm a basket case. I've never had much luck with dahlias but hopefully I can grow one of these dahlias some day. Thank you for sharing this dahlia story.

What a beautiful story and blessing. There is nothing to be ashamed of the way you wear your heart on your sleeve. I am an old soul too and had the same connection with my grandparents who raised me. Looking forward to the Martha Miller coming to life
