What variety of Snaps did you plant? I bought plugs locally from an Amish farm (Ephrata, PA, and went with Opus, Madame Butterfly and Potomac. This is my first year for Snaps. so excited! So you are in Lancaster County too! We live in New Holland! Happy growing! --Sarah

This was really helpful! I-m planting some direct sow seeds as well as ones I-ve started indoors for the first time like snap dragons. How do you prevent birds from eating your seeds and seedlings when you-ve just planted them and they-re still small?
