Planting Artic Fire - Yellow Dogwood - A Great Winter Cut! What's better than a red twig dogwood? A yellow twig dogwood! This North American Native is tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions, has bright yellow stems in winter, and produces berries! It's hardy in zones 2-7 and grows approx. 5-6 ft tall and wide. What's not to love!

I work for a plant vendor to our local Walmart, so I get first dibs on mark downs. There were 2 red twig that went down to $15, I still didn't want to pay that, 3 days later I decided I wanted them, only to see both in some ladies cart.

I planted the red twig variety and two years in a row got the most fishy worms on them. I ripped them out because I couldn-t take the one worms. Any tips?
