This is my first time to watch your video, I enjoyed it. I am a bird watcher my self and I can tell you that they can bring life and joy to your yard. Birds are also beneficial as well. I also like the choice of colors you have chosen for the birdhouses, they will be prefect for my backyard. My only advice to you or to anyone is when it comes to bird bath in the winter, it is best to buy a water heater for bird bath or an animal stock water heater. They are sold at The Tractor Supply and online. The only issue about that it have to be plugged in to keep the water from freezing but its worth it. Birdbath water heater should not cost no more than 30 bucks.

The birdhouses look very distinguished, so does the bird bath! Please, be careful with the water in the bird bath and the cold temperatures, it might do the bird bath harm (ask me how I know that, even in zone 7b/8a it has freezing temperatures sometimes.
And, maybe, instead of a dog statue, make a topiary from boxwood (Monty did it and it only took 2 to 3 years and seemed like a lot of fun. I very much enjoyed antiquing with you. Thanks for having me!

Wow, these houses are so beautiful! Thank you for sharing and I love your videos! This is off topic but you mentioned penn state. I'm a flower farmer in PA too! Do you know if they have any information on cut flower pricing? Or any idea how I can find that info? I've been researching and trying everything I can think of. But can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! I really enjoy your videos and helpful info!

Thanks for the virtual shopping tour! Still pretty much in self quarantine though we received our 2nd vaccine on Valentines Day. Since we were out, we did go to Annie-s Annuals & Perennials (15 customers at a time) and Orchard Nursery after the vaccines and managed to buy several plants (that I didn-t have seed for) soil and Micro bark. It was in the 40-s and spitty but lovely nonetheless. Z9b SFBay Area.

I couldn't help but laugh a bit when you dug through the snow to place the birdbath. Anything to keep the garden dream alive! If your mom is willing, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to see how you go through the process of developing her garden. Yours is absolutely lovely and I like to see it grow, but it would nice to see how you start from scratch and build a vision from nothing, too!

Love the birdhouses and your new bird bath as well as your fun shopping trip. I am in southern Wisconsin where tonight's low is -12 and we're covered in deep snow. I use two different heated bird baths ( one more shallow for the smaller birds) for the winter. They aren't as pretty but they keep the water from freezing even in these cold temperatures.

Those bird nest boxes are really beautiful and the roof just lifting off makes it so easy to clean. The bird bath/dog's drinking bowl is perfect, nice rough material and great design. It did make me smile watching you having to shovel away the snow to even get to the ground underneath to install it!

I have a glass birdbath with a hummingbird on it that was gifted to me, but not one bird went near it all summer. I think maybe they were afraid of slipping? I put my old cement one back out and the birds flock to it. Love the birdbath you purchased!

You are such a pleasure to watch. I-m so happy you love the birdhouses. Can-t wait to see it installed, I agree that it would be great by that evergreen and in view of a window to enjoy from indoors too!

Really enjoyed seeing the farms and antiques! I feel like we were on a day out. I would love to hear about the Master Gardener classes you did and how/if it's helped with flower farming. Thank you!

Do you worry about squirrels getting into your birdhouse? I freak out with squirrels because one got into my house and I had to deal with it all by myself and I nearly passed out with fear!

I also love to spend a little time outside no matter the weather. please be careful your bird bath doesn't crack in the freezing cold. Your love of gardening is an inspiration: )

I have added an electric warmer to each of my birdbaths. It keeps the water from freezing which helps the birds during the winter months. I use an outdoor extension cord.

Hi the bird-s bath won-t break with the snow and cold temperatures? It looks beautiful though and would compliment nicely with your bird-s house.
