Today we're joined by Deanna Kitchen, the founder of The Growing Kindness Project. This amazing non-profit organization is all about growing cut flowers, giving them away for free, therefore spreading kindness in our communities. The Growing Kindness Project provides resources, education, and support to help everyone grow cut flowers and give them freely to those in need. There are four different levels of involvement to suit a variety of growers and differing financial situations. This is amazing! This is my first year planning my flower garden to a larger scale and was planning on giving them away to all of my local businesses to spread happiness and to test the vase life without any pressure. This takes it to a whole new level! So beautiful! I can-t wait to be a part of this amazing adventure! Thanks for the happy tears!

I am incredibly honored and excited to be a Growing Kindness Ambassador for the upcoming year. I shared about the project in my master gardener class this week and everyone was so excited to learn about the project. This video is the perfect combo of kind and generous people!

I'm a 2nd year small-scale flower farmer in PA 6b, and I has a similar idea too! Sharing flowers, Growing Kindness. I practiced this last year and you could see the joy in the receiver, but also see the joy in all those around. It was so wonderful.

That was so inspirational! Thank you so much for sharing it. And it's perfectly timed as I'm in the middle of planning my 2021 garden. Spring is just around the corner here, even though the ground is covered with snow in 7a!

This is a wonderful idea! I am starting a cut flower garden this year for the first time and planning to give them away. I was inspired by Laura from Garden Answer. I will check out The Growing Kindness Project. Thank you!

What a beautiful way to share your love of plants and flowers with others! With me, I do share plants too with friends and even hired help on a much smaller scale, Of course. And you can imagine how this makes me happy-

Absolutely love everything about this! Just signed up to be a gardener. Do you know if her dahlia sale will be through the Growing Kindness website? I'm having trouble finding any details about it. Thanks!

So good to see this as I had already signed up! I'm a Master Gardener who is a therapist/coach, started a small flower garden farm for joy, happiness, and teaching to others.
