I can't tell you how much I love seeing your garden. It brings tears to my eyes that you have a garden dedicated to your grandmother. My grandmother was my best friend. My grandfather was the gardener. I helped him some as a kid. My grandmother always referred to all the flowers in the yard as -my flowers-. It was funny to me that it was my grandfather who did all the work. She even cried once when my cousin mowed down her gladiolus.
I have a hard time watching some of the walks in he garden because I get nauseated from the camera motion. So I listen and just catch glimpses as you identify the plants.
I am in search of a lacecap hydrangea. I saw you have one. I have a customer (I own a window cleaning business) who has 3 in her garden. When I was trying to describe it to my daughter, I wanted to say it had Glitter in the middle. Hers are magically beautiful.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden.

Hi Danielle! I really enjoy your videos. I was wondering of you would ever consider doing a video on cut flower design for landscapes? I'm interested in adding more cut flowers into my landscape design but I'm a little lost on how to get started. Other than stem height and bloom color, I'm not really sure how to make my flower beds look nice. Since the flowers would be in the front yard I really want to a avoid a wild look and I'm not really sure how to do that. Perhaps you have a suggestion on which cut flowers have a neat foliage look, like gladiolus and hydrangeas? -

I got a bag of these giving to me from home Depot in my in laws Easter basket. They are definitely a dominating flower but I'm in love with them. I take it they don't like what feet because a couple of them near my drip line seem to be rotting away. at any rate the others are exploding with color I will have to find some other colors for next year

So it turns out I've had a yellow and red one growing in a pot that has a giant jade plant I got for free off the side of the road. I've always thought it was grass today but I've never been able to get to it to pull it out from the roots so I left it, about 2 years later it's finally flowered, and I've now discovered a new flower, so gorgeous!

Thank you for this video. I have been cutting my glads wrong this entire time (waiting for most of the flowers to bloom. Please do more videos on how to cut and where to cut on the stem. Also when you dig up your glads show us how you store them. Love your informative videos.

Wow, I never knew these were associated with funerals. For Lunar New Year, there are only two flowers we use and Gladiolus are one of them.
It is Spring here and I am going to plant my corms today. I hope they turn out as beautiful as yours -

Love the video! My grandfather used to grow gladiolas very successfully. I decided to give it a try this year. I have a small farmstand and was wondering how they are priced to sell? By the stem? By the bouquet? Thank you.

I have some gladiolus that have been in the garden for a few years. I'd like to transplant them. Any tips on when is a good time to transplant. When i tried it in the past the others didn't survive.

Found a bag last week I bought cheap the end of last yr, pretty surprised when I seen what was in the bag. I agree they're a Beautiful flower, one of my favorite tall growing flowers.

Is it pretty common for gladiolus to hybridize? I planted a mix of pink, yellow, orange, and red a few years ago. This spring I had all kinds of colors I never planted -

Will these bulbs winter over in zone 4 / 5 or do they need to be dug up every fall. thank you sharing all your knowledge, It truly has helped me so much.

mine keep flopping over. Tying them to a steak does not look nice because the leaves get pinched. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thank you.

I've had leaf growth on my gladiolus but still no bloom stocks and I feel like it's been at least 90 days. Am I doing something wrong?

Your Gladioli are beautiful. I like how many bulbs or corms can just be put in the ground and forgotten about until they start growing-
