I'm decorating the dried flower Christmas tree and celebrating a beautiful year of growing cut flowers! Our home just wouldn't be complete with this floral Christmas tree

Wonderful video which gave me inspiration to visit Longwood and to dress up something with dried flowers! I've never seen anything like this before. I do have one dried hydrangea for almost two years, still holding up in a vase. You've made me anxious to try growing varieties to dry. Thanks You asked for inspiring gardens, well on the way to Toronto, Canada, there are three connecting gardens, I think they are called the Royal Canadian gardens, one goes down from the road, planted up to the house and stairs. Marvelous. I recommend that for sure as well as the NY Botanical gardens in the Bronx. It was my favorite place to get to growing up. It inspires me to this day.

I love this tree -- I'm going to grow cut flowers this coming year and hopefully, will have dried flowers for 2022. I made an angel out of dried flowers several years ago -- she has long since fallen apart -- but I had forgotten all about her until this video -- I will definitely be making a new one for the top of my dried flower tree. Is Mexican Bush Sage a perennial where you live or will it bloom in one season?

What a beautiful and unique tree -and a special memory for your daughter. A tradition we started when our boys were little is buying a Xmas ornament on our family trips- something that was reminiscent of the trip. Put the year in hidden area thankfully bc we now have 25 years worth of memories. It-s so fun to decorate the tree each year and remember all the great times we shared over the years.

I love idea of dried flower Christmas -. I may be to late, a verse for gardening, (One is nearer Gods heart, in the garden, than anyplace else, on this earth) exactly how I feel when working in the garden, I found it in Lancaster farming artical.

P. S. I should have mentioned the ingredients I used! Dusty miller (which I love) Spray roses, various colors, baby's breath (for -snow-, eucalyptus, (I used bunches as well) - and some various fillers that I had dried since the summer. =)

Oh my word Danielle! How absolutely beautiful! You are so talented and your taste is exquisite! I will definitely be doing this next Christmas. I only have one of my children still at home and this would be just perfect for us.

I loved your tree, so I tried in a little urn Christmas tree. Just love it and I have a big window in my cabin, walked by the cabin blew my mind. With the chicken light and green curtains, looks so country. Thank you so much

I did mine last week! - it's in my bedroom. I love the dried floral look in my bedroom! It's not nearly as pretty as yours, but it's a work in progress! I made up my mind after your tutorial last year to try one!

That's the most beautiful tree I'm seen, your such a joy to many I'm sure. My grass yard is getting smaller and smaller because I need more flower space. Blessing on you and your family. Alice in Illinois

Thanks so much for sharing your process of decorating the tree. Loved seeing the layering of dried flowers. It was so interesting to see what each new layer of flowers provided to the end product.

I love the idea and it looks lovely. I am however thinking of fire - hazards. Dry Christmas Trees caused some house fires here in Oregon though. With LED lights now, might not be so much an issue now.

I absolutely love this! I am inspired and want to try this with the few dried flowers that I have this year, and next year I'll plan on drying more just for the purpose of decorating my Christmas tree!

That is so pretty and creative! Do you re-grow and dry these every year or store and reuse them for more than one season? If the latter, what's your recommended method for storage?

I'm loving this tree!
I also think the Larkspur, and Gumphrena's dark colors were the perfect touch to set off the light colored flowers.
-Excellent, as usual! ---

This is great. The tree is beautiful, and I am inspired to grow flowers to dry just so I can decorate a tree like this next year. Thank you! I love your videos. Merry Christmas!

Absolutely amazing! It does look Victorian, like something you would see on antique Christmas cards. Very beautiful and a great tradition to have! I might steal the idea! -
