Today I'm planting Incrediball- Hydrangea! Incrediball- is an improved version of the classic smooth Hydrangea Annabelle, but this variety has stronger stems so the huge blooms stand up straight in the garden instead of flopping over like Annabelle is known to do

0: 29 In reality it flops just as bad as Annabelle, especially when planted in shade (and is forced to stretch its necks to the sun. When I moved both Annabelle and Incrediball to the morning sun position, they stopped flopping and were flowering profusely but suffered from wind, which made their leaves (esp. Annabelle) look unsightly (marked. In my region, the winds come from the South, South-West. So I had to find a sheltered sunny position and I found one - in front of a row of trees. I live in a wet mild climate. Trees are pulling a lot of moisture from underneath Annabelle so it doesn't grow too fast and, as a result, doesn't flop that much. Note that Annabelle holds blooms a lot longer into the fall season than Incrediball.

Do you have any recommendations for how to plant very small hydrangeas? I bought a couple of quart size proven winner hydrangeas and a few different varieties and none of them are over 3 inches tall some of them are just a stick with no signs of life some of them do have little tiny green buds on them I'm currently watering them and giving them morning Sun but I'm not sure how to transition them to the garden. Any advice would be helpful

mopheads don't do that well in our area. Maybe a handful of blooms if you get lucky and pray. If they get too much sun, zero blooms. We have some veryy mature 20 year old mopheads that just won't bloom no matter what. We've tried different fertilizers and whatnot. I'd like to try some limelights, they seem to FULL of blooms everywhere I see them. Now I'm thinking I should look into annabelles? there is so much to consider lol.

I ordered this hydrangea from Proven Winners. Gallon size. They sent me one twig of what you're showing. A $30 gallon. for. one. twig. It is insulting. Add to that, it arrived completely dried out with burned foliage. I ordered four gallons. Highly. highly disappointed in Proven Winners. I'm hoping they stand behind their product and correct this. Every time I see a video of a gallon hydrangea, I feel so cheated out of my money.

Does it take a few years to get those nice full big blooms? I bought mine last year, planted it and it has grown and gotten blooms, lots of blooms but only one of the blooms really got full and dense, the others are kind of feathery. I'm wondering do I need to do something to it to get the really full big blooms. I have it planted in my woodland garden so it gets some sun morning and shade afternoon. Thanks for any advice.

I can-t wait to plant this year! I want to have a big cottage garden, I know it-s going to take a lot of time, plants & moneys! Lol -
I-m hoping to make it up side the house & fence off about 50x100 spot, and a little doggie yard separate from the flower bed. I also have a dog named Gracie, she is just a little thing at 6 pounds, she is a Yorkie & loves to be outside with momma -

I bought one last fall (8a) and it grew about two feet this year. I had small blooms but they were beautiful. The stems were skinny but seemed to handle the rain as the blooms did not flop so much. I-m thinking they will grow bigger with larger blooms Spring 2021.

Lemme tell you. this one flops too. I heard people say the same and bought 6 of them planted it as the main feature in my garden in Seattle. Every time it rains all the blooms are on the ground and makes me so sad! Just putting it out there!

An incrediball is on my list. I love Ken-s too. Bought several plants from them when we visit your area. If you haven-t been to Briar Rose Greenhouse in East Earl, make sure and visit them. That-s my favorite place to go! Thanks for the video!

I love these flowers. I edged my house with them. I can't find them in tx, at a store, have to order, and the smallest plant is 17. 99 not including tax. so to get hose at 16. 99 at that sizes. Is upsetting. LOL.

We have several Annabelle hydrangeas and have always wanted to add some Incrediball hydrangeas so perhaps this may be the year, if we can find any on markdown.

Are these fast growers? I just picked up two of these plants but they-re really small, I-m wondering how fast will they fill in the space

I-m jealous I live in Abu Dhabi this plant would burn in our weather even if we grow them under trees -
