Your mom's garden is so pretty. I grew the cup and saucer vine for the first time this year and unfortunately, they haven't bloomed. The vines are tall, but no flowers. I started them indoors in my small greenhouse in mid-Feb (I think) from seeds here in my zone 5 garden. Maybe I should have started them earlier. Will try them again next year. We still have maybe one month left here of gardening before we get our first frosts. I hope they hurry up and bloom! LOL. BTW, your garden is beautiful too. Love seeing all of the fruit and veggies.

So very much enjoyed yet another one of your videos. I loved touring a part of your parents garden beds. I have never seen a cup and saucer vine which was stunning in all of its stages. Wow! Also, knowing that you can determine the size blooms on a sunflower by the seed spacing is such good information. I learn so much in what you share with us! Could you please spell the name of the white flower with dark center which was at your mom and dad's? What a blessing you are to your parents and I know you are a gift to them!

I started Cup & Saucer vine from seed in the house this past winter and they grew up my grow light stands vigorously. However, when I moved them outside, still in their tiny pots, they petered out. I don't think they were struck on being moved from their cozy location or perhaps the hardening off process was too harsh. Will try again next year. They are beautiful! Thank you for sharing your parent's garden and talents. Lovely all round!

I loved this video! Thanks for sharing about your parents and grandparents with us. I have such a similar experience of time I spend at my grandparents lake house up in the Midwest every summer growing up. We had little nicknames for all the different bedrooms etc. and I wish I had the beautiful basin and pitcher I remember always sitting in the bedroom I would stay in. How sweet. -

Great sweet video I garden in zone8b/ 9 a. Even with are very cool winter nite time temps now my cup/saucer vine huge on my arbor. it does seem to bloom in fall here Pensacola Fl. it-s going down to 33 degrees tonite but our bit of freeze has not killed it back! Your parents garden is beautiful and love your garden as well! Thanks Danielle for your very constructive videos! Judy

Great video! I will definitely be buying your Dad's books for my 2 Grandaughters. I love that your Mom plays the piano in your videos. I'm a musician also as well as my two boys. Your garden is beautiful and I can't imagine not using supplemental water for my beds, you are lucky. All mine is on drip or I would be a slave to my garden otherwise.

How do you keep your garden looking so lovely without using a hose? I know you-re in zone 6b as I am and we gets lots of rain too but honestly there are some days that everything looks so wilted that I have to water. Do you run drip? It seems many gardeners on here encourage running drip but I am unable to do it.

I wondered where you got all the beautiful Christian Music, lovely that your family is involved in your videos.
I had no idea that you could dictate the size of the Sunflower head by the spacing of the plant, it certainly explains why my densely planted Sunflowers have such small heads this year.

Thank you for taking us through each strep of growth of the c/s vine. I have seedlings of this vine and now I know what to look out for. And, yes, it is reminiscent of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!
