Someone still has misinterpreted off-grid life style having a same picture living like a cave man. Your explaination in each video is very useful to acknowledge people what off-grid is liked. You live compromisingly applying with current technlogy, tools, equipment and final goods. Less consume and being emphahty to nature. Wish you and your family happiness, being healthy and all prosperity as your desire.

Ive watched lots of your videos and Im understanding the term self reliant now. We see what it means for you, but for myself Im 76, a widow of 2 years. I live alone with my little dog. I find peace and joy in the simple everyday things around me. Im going to remain self reliant as long as I can.

Squirels no good fir nothing they destroy alot of things ate all my plumbs bite in one apple another one etc never finish one apple they bite through cable eat furniture pillowd the list goes on

the thing about working in the cold is that it's difficult at first but once things warm up, it's all happy and chirpy because you're not overheating or overly sweaty!
