I've always wanted to live in the country, but not in the wilderness. I love the convenience of a washer and dryer and most of all, indoor plumbing with a flushing toilet. When I see this washer, I feel a renewed appreciation for my electric washer and the things I take for granted; however to each his own, clearly, Shawn has found his niche in life and is happy with this lifestyle. I wish him nothing but the best in the years ahead.

When does winter start n finish up there? I'm in the Hudson valley in upstate ny. I've never been north. about all of south n the west coast. And the sun is gorgeous when setting up there. So thanks for sharing it with us. Absolutely stunning.

I liked how you did drone shot to show the layout of the land and how you have a big open field nearby where you clear your wood but keep all the trees around your house for beauty and protection.

the real life Kevin Costner. I grew up in NC woods. biggest thing I made was a dog pen. nothing to do out there just nature. I didn't appreciate wanted to see the world. I seen enough.

Id like to know how your wife fills her days while there and you are off doing your creating and building. Does she do needlework, read or lots of cooking just wondering.

I love the washer. I know it takes effort but dog gone it you two worked together and got it done. No reason not to smell like a sunny spring day in the dead of winter.
