Shower Day at the Cabin in the Log Sauna

After spending a couple of hours building the back addition of the off grid log cabin between regular chores like firewood processing, I fire up the wood-fired sauna and try out the rechargeable battery powered shower head. For dinners, I cook hot chicken wings and bear steak in cast iron skillets on the Jotul wood stove

just food for thought, on the shower and hot water, two birds one stone, if you use your wood burning stove in your main cabin; you could on the outside of the stove pipe, wind a copper tubing like a coil around the stove pipe from top to bottom and harness excess heat to heat your water and run that line insulated to your shower. and then if you supply that water with a / if you built like a solar water heater on top of the cabin, you could use gravity feed to develop the water pressure; that's what a lot of towns do; that's why they put their emergency water in large tanks on tall stilts or tall legs or on hill sides, to use gravity feed when the power fails to create water pressure. And you could use that for both your cold and hot water. Just a suggestion. Take Care

As I see you finished your sauna, now you can relax in the privacy of your sauna and enjoy more fishing and hunting with your dog Cali. Have you considered building another cabins a guest cabin for people to visit you and enjoy the outdoors with you when people visit you.

I feel sorry for the dog. Is living in that environment really happy for dog? It's often wet with rain and snow, and that man doesn't seem to take much care of his dog. There may be dangerous wild animals in the forest, and what would that man do if that dog is attacked?
