In this episode of BlacktipH, we go fishing for multi-species offshore Mahi, Wahoo, Swordfish, and Sharks. Jake, Billy, and Davis took our team of sponsors- Penn, Berkley, and Fin-nor. We began the day by finding a large stick floating in the water with mahi all over it! After catching a dozen of those, Billy dropped a vertical jig deep below the floating structure and hooked into a small wahoo, which we released and then moved deeper for swordfish. We dropped our swordfish bait in 1600 feet of water and waited for three hours before we got a bite. We used the Hooker Electric reel, got the small swordfish up within about 15 minutes, and released it. As we headed back inshore, we saw a massive school of baitfish busting by the beach. After a few casts, Jake hooked up to a blacktip shark, which popped off right by the boat. Tim: I hope Josh heals fast so he can get back to doing what he loves the most. I love Penn gear, it is what I have the most of in my very small arsenal. If I can ever hit the lotto I would be dropping a lot of coin to stock up on Penn gear. Until then, I will have to keep scrimping to buy used gear when I can.

Hand cranking swordfish is 100% a option people use this excuse a lot to justify themselves buying electric reels.
If you rather spend the 5000 because you're too lazy to reel that's fine just don't say it's something else.
