In this video I put a 13lb largemouth bass into my pond Jason: I'd halve to mount that bad bog on the wall for real. That is the biggest bass I've seen and I've been fishing for 30 yrs. In Indiana the avg bass is 2 lbs. The biggest I've caught is 7 lbs which is a monster up there. I got it out of the biggest man made lake in the state Indiana, lake Waswasee. The lake is a beauty, you can see 30 ft deep on a busy day no problem. I say that's a monster at 7 up there because they don't have the growing season up tgere like they do in the south where it's warmer. Damn good video as usual and I'll say that's a better man than me because it would be on my wall. I'd give you all others thought.

For everyone saying the fish wont survive, not trying to start a war here but I've seen many 5+ pounders brought out of VERY small ponds. Rarely a 10 + pounder but many 5-9. One of the biggest I've ever seen came from a 1/4 acre pond that was only 8 ft deep. Fish had to be in the mid teens. Wasent stocked and wasent private. Not that pond has refrigerators, stoves and tires in it but anywaise, huge fish. An live in very small ponds

Stocking a pond with already huge fish is a good way to catch massive fish, but it just seems like cheating to me. I mean like if you go to a pond and 90% of the fish are over 5 lbs then you can't really be excited when you catch the 5lber but if you go to a normal lake or pond then most of the fish will be normal sized so catching a 5lber will be more of an accomplishment. Idk it just seems like cheating to me

Googled it. Take the tip of the tape to the top of the nose of the fish and extend it to the longest tip of the tail when pinched. Multiply this length by the result of the girth x girth measurement. Take your last result and divide it by 800. This will give you the weight of the fish.

Claims its 13 LB right after catching it. No scale then I say its a 9. 5 I don't care if its a 12 or 13 LB fish you can't make claim a Bass is 10+ by guessing. Otherwise you get people just making up legends about their 7 lb being 10s ect. Anyways great fish and video.

Y'all better have some bluegills and shiners in there or they'll die off. That's probably what happened, is the balance got thrown off by the fish eating all the food sources and the pond died off! Not To mention, if those yards get sprayed. the run off will kill em.

Mixed feelings about moving fish from a lake to a pond, and/or from public water to private water. Any laws around this? Will the fish thrive in such smaller waters (with a different water composition, forage base, etc? Seems questionable.

Awesome video! Question: Is there anything illegal about doing this? What are the laws about taking a fish from one body of water and putting it into another? Is there a law? I have ZERO problem with you doing this. Was just wondering.
