So, if the murder was done in the same location as the gun was, then how come they never found it if then gun has been there all the time? NOT trying to say this is fake at all, but police usually looks for every single clue around.

I can't believe that there are still police officers that care about people's safety and do their job as they're supposed to most of them now are just corrupt or say that have better things to do

Looks like a Ruger LCR in which case the frame is polymer and aluminum (therefore, cannot rust. So as long as the serial number wasn't scratched off it should be visible once cleaned.
