Florida fishing girl Darcizzle continues her east coast storm coverage, damage report, and survival techniques Ben: Get the gunk aircraft parts cleaner in the one gallon paint can take apart the carburater and soak only the metal parts in the gunk cleaner, over night then rinse with hot water and blow dry with compressed air make sure to force air threw all the ports and holes in the carb reassemble and it will run great, use super glue and a craft knife to cut the rubber bowl gasket and remove a piece rubber from the gasket so it the correct size again then glue back together with the super glue.

I remember trying to get a generator started. That's a miserable feeling. Now that I'm in Wyoming, the problem is getting my snowblower started this winter.
I think this episode is the first that I've seen that didn't show a fish, a fishing pole, or an archery fishing setup. Can you remember another episode where you didn't have one of those three things?

he was floodin the engine, when it takes off like that you gotta hold the valve open slightly then take a tuning wrench and raise or lower the idol rpm as needed. there was no filter and the humidity probably made it a pain in the ass to start.

What model and mfgr is the engine? I had a similar problem this spring and if the engine is similar it was due to a faulty oil pressure switch. tell me the engine and we may be able to make a fix.

My generator did same thing a few months ago. I never shut off the gas valve when it did run therefore the carb gummed up. Cleaned it out and now when starting I shut off gas valve.

Thanks for the update. It was better than what I could get on the news to have an idea of how some of my friends probably are. Very much appreciated!
