One thing I'll add, back in the 80's I worked in a butcher house for about four years, most of the six to eight butchers there, were using the old white handled Dexter Russell's at the time, but the one thing that always stayed with me was how often they put the knife on the steel. They had their steels hanging from their belts, and would take just a few swipes on the knife about every thirty seconds. they also wore the wire mesh gloves. :) I think one or two swipes was enough to keep their blades honed, but not wear the blade off too fast. Those fish bones though fine, can dull a blade pretty quick. Those Bubba's are nice knives.
Fellow Lefty!

I'm finding it really interesting listening to anglers from a different part of the country. What appears to be common knowledge in one part of the country, is unheard of on the other side of the country. I guess that is what it means to expand your horizons. All the way from the use of spinning rods for powerful fish in Florida, to almost non-existing use of spinning rods for big fish in CA.
I like that table, the hose hook-up is nice. brand name?
I bet you keep your neighbors fat and happy on fish. :)

I do a lot of inshore fishing up here on the Outer Banks of NC. I mainly target speckled trout, red drum, flounder & rockfish ( striped bass. My go to lures are DOA's, Gulps and Mirro Lures. It would be interesting to see you guys target the drum, flounder & trout down there to see what lures and techniques work best for you in your area.

You will always have people criticizing you for this, that and the other thing (negative thinkers. I would either just give positive comments back (which they hate) or don't respond at all! Just my thoughts, keep up the GREAT videos!

Some commercial fishermen like my Step dad keep a bunch of cans of salt. so the Ice that gets loaded in the ice box he dumped the salt in on top of the ice. It made ice colder and makes it saltwater.

Thank you for your classy videos. I normally throw the fish bones to the local raccoons but this year I plan to make Fish Emulsion to feed my vegetable plants.
