Starting off VERY SLOW with a new workout routine is the way to do it. If your body is not used to doing those things, you can get REALLY HURT going from 0 to 100. The generally recommended increase in running distance is 10% per week---but if that feels like too much, drop it down. I got really bad iliotibial band syndrome by increasing my running distance too quickly, and then I couldn't run 50 feet without dropping to my knees in pain. Take it slow, take it easy, and enjoy all that time out in the fresh air! I think the most important thing is to change your way of thinking about your body, health & fitness. As far as eating, I go by the everything in moderation mantra, and it seems to work for me. One thing I can recommend is to stay away from sugary drinks, alcoholic beverages, bread products & excessive animal products. Remember you're not doing it only to look better, you're doing it to feel better & stay healthy!

Brian i weighed 265 lbs was diagnosed with diabetes. I went on a new eating journey ( no soda pop at all ) water only also no carbs at all. I lost, in 4 months 42 lbs. My blood sugar is back to normal and most importantly i feel great. This is not a diet it is a new way of eating. I am very confident that you CAN do this. Try my suggestion for one week, if it works great if not its only one week. The first week water tastes like crap but after a week or two it tastes great and pop tastes like crap. I wish you all the luck in the world, keep on keepen on LOL LOL

darcie you look absolutely beautiful like usual and I also wanted to say Brian's orange shoes look awesome love umm and just so you guys know you should never listen to the haters if you guys want to peer fish then do it I think it's awesome that you guys do different things in your videos it makes things interesting I think your viewers would get bored if you did the same thing all the time your food looked amazing also lol it made me hungry just looking at it so screw the haters and follow your dreams and keep on catching love the video

And Brian, you're so right to take it slow at first in your training. I decided to get back into some competitive softball at 50. Heck, my Rawlings glove was older than some of the kids on the team! Anyway, strained a calf & a deltoid first season. Played 2 more years and had to stop. Rotator cuff. Keep going B! You got this!

And team Darci has crushed it with day 1 in the history books and winning Brian was out front by mile in the half mile while adding 50 squats and 50 pushups to another, sizzling video! Enjoyed the video as usual. The light ring is a great idea for eliminating unwanted shadows. It will also wash out fine details and subtle colors unless you change either the aperture or exposure settings. The Automatic setting will not give you the best results. Try testing with an exposure or color card.
