Hi Darci! Glad you had a productive day fishing. I haven't hear hybrid stripers called Florida Sunshine Bass before.
Those hybrid stripers are a cross between white bass and stripers and they can hit 50 lbs. I used to catch a bunch of them in lakes in Oklahoma. Anywhere there are stripers and white bass, or sand bass by some, you'll find hybrids. They are good eating, but are best if bled and you cut the blood line out of the meat like some ocean fish.

What was the Temp that day? It has been a super cold start to winter right? Lets all pray for zero fish kills from this. They said that the snook down there have been hurt already and can't stand another bad weather hit.
